Web 2.0 wrap-up
I did finish this a while back, but just didn’t get around to posting until now.
I believe this was/is a very good exercise for introducing us to the various tools available on the internet to do a variety of interactive tasks. I currently use several of these tools on a daily or weekly basis. I feel more comfortable now in helping patrons with some of these sites.
The zoho.com or google docs sites are especially useful for patron who don’t own a floppy disk or flash drive and need to save documents. Of course it means we will probably also have to help them sign up for an email account, but that is fine.
I use delicious, google docs and facebook regularly and twitter occaisionally. I read other blogs regularly but am not sure if I’ll keep this one up or not.
It has been fun and educational at the same time.
